作、繪者：宮西達也
一九五六年出生於日本靜岡縣，日本大學藝術學院美術系畢業。曾經從事人偶劇的舞臺美術、平面設計工作，現為專職繪本作家，至今創作數十冊以上的繪本，屢獲大獎。《超人力霸王爸爸回來了！》、《你看起來好像很好吃》、《吱吱》獲日本劍淵繪本大獎，《今天運氣怎麼這麼好》獲第三十屆日本講談社出版文化獎繪本獎，《超神奇糖果鋪》獲日本繪本獎讀者獎，《喵嗚》獲第三十八屆日本書籍設計裝幀競賽展 閱讀推廣運動協議會獎。
